February 14, 2016: Valentine's and Artistic Nude

Valentine's and Artistic Nudes
Valentine's and Artistic Nudes
This macro was shot using Nikon D5200 and Soligor 80-200mm f/4.5

With just a few days before Valentine's Day, I thought that an artistic nude would make a timely appearance.

Surely people would react negatively, but I believe in the correctness of my decision to pose for an artistic nude and that it was merely an exercise to freedom of expression.

There is a thin line between artistic nude and bad taste, educational vs. pornography. I know that there will be close-minded people who will use this to discriminate or spread hate on me, but there is no room for compromise because we need to stand up for what we believe in.

I'm no porn star, I'm not athletic, I'm not sexy and I'm not even confident to show my body... But I'm trying to make a statement here. People should be more accepting of your own body and its flaws.

If this post inspires just a single person, then my efforts are worth it. #RebelHeart

My other goals are to test my new Nikkor 43-86mm f/3.5 lens, to show you the beauty of B&W photography and to show the benefits of attaching a fisheye adapter for lenses that are between 35 to 50mm.
