|New haircut for 2016. I've had enough.|
December 31, 2015. We have just finished our family dinner. I decided to crop my hair afterward because it was already getting annoying. You know, all these dry tangled hair. At this point, the hair is under life support by keratin and hair treatment creams.
Believe me, I so wanted to cut my hair short since 2012... inspired by my classmate's haircut. But up until now, I wanted to sport long girly hair, which was one of the things I always wanted to achieve. I don't think I'd have the patience or sanity to grow it longer than it reached my shoulder, so now I've had enough (but will definitely keep the blonde).
Speaking of the new hair, this should save so much time and maintenance needed so I could just wash and go everyday.
This selfie was shot using a lens that I got 2 days before... the Vivitar 28mm f/2 Nikon F Mount Lens, manufactured by Kiron (serial #'s that start with "22..."). It's intended to be my all-around lens, especially for taking landscapes, and its bright aperture of f/2 is also perfect for low-light photography. It also goes well with a fisheye adapter.
I like this 28mm focal length, which on my Nikon D5200 APS-C sensor with a crop factor of 1.5x is equivalent to 42mm -- it just about captures the subject and the whole scene. Unlike my 50 or 60mm lenses which are too tight for anything other than portraits. More on this lens in another post. Xin Nien Quai Leh!
