|April 22, 2016: The World's Smallest Full Moon, Shot At Manila Bay|
April 22, 2016
Two days ago, I went out for a photo walk in search of historical places in Manila. So after getting at the wrong route, I ending up somewhere else...
|Here's a beautiful full moon looming over the Manila Metropolitan Theater.|
I choose this as my full moon shot for April 2016.
I left home late afternoon in a rush just to catch up and video the sunset in Manila Bay. Unfortunately, I was just a few minutes too late when I arrived at 6.20PM. Here are sunset photos in Manila Bay shot last March 30. There was a sight of pets running along the rocky banks... I even spotted a wild rat running toward me!

It was almost 9.00 PM. I was about to walk blocks away to the nearest 7-11 for a drink, lugging along my 5 kilogram baggage on my shoulder. Then the moon showed up. I immediately looked for a spot and then set up my tools for the task. Shooting photos with the lens is easier when handheld, and best with a tripod when doing videos. Unfortunately, the strong wind was creating vibration at 3000mm. Being the quick thinker that I am, I used my scarf to give counterweight and stability which proved to be super effective.
Shooting the moon was the sole reason that I got this lens. After waiting for one month for the full moon, this was finally my moment! Despite the softness of the image quality, I'm quite satisfied to accomplish one of my photography goals.

Thank you for dropping by! =)
