March 31, 2016: A Quick Snapshot of the Ricoa Factory in EDSA,
Long Exposure At Welcome Rotonda

March 31, 2016.

One of the bonuses of riding an open-air bus and getting stuck on a traffic along EDSA is probably when you're around Boni station and inhaling all of the beautiful chocolate scent coming from the Ricoa Chocolate Factory.

When I used to work around the area, I'd either commute via MRT or air-con bus thus missing out on this. Nowadays, I always choose open-air bus JUST FOR THIS. It might sound very shallow, but if you've been there, you'd probably do the same to get a whiff of the nice chocolate scent.

This shot was taken around 11pm with my Nikon D5200 and Nikkor AF 35-135mm f/3.5-4.5 (1988 Version). The angle could have been improved on, and I was actually planning to get up the bridge to get a better view. However, I didn't want to look like a suspicious spy lurking around private property or something... I know where to stick my nose and where not to.

Unedited. This was shot with a Nikkor AF 35-135mm at f/3.5.

Later, as I was already close to home, I also took another handheld long exposure shot at Welcome Rotonda. The different angle/perspective comes fresh to me as I haven't shot it that way before.

Shot back in January 2016 with a Vivitar 28mm f/2 and 0.21x Fisheye Adapter.

Shot with Nikon D5200, Nikkor-S 50mm f/1.4 and a fisheye adapter attached -- the first photo below is unedited while the next one is how I'd like you to see it.
