Aside from a personal agenda to do some errands today, I thought it was the chance to do what I always wanted to do -- to make a video featuring the beautiful sights and modes of transportation in Manila.
The Philippine's railway system is a crucial part in the lives of the Filipino people. We ride it daily to commute to work, to bring us to our destination in the fastest way, and to make faraway destinations seem like a block away. But it also brings a beautiful overview and perspective of Metro Manila.
Everything was shot with a Lenovo A7000+. The whole footage totals 58 minutes, but I cut everything down to 33 minutes for brevity's sake. This phone has a malfunctioning and non-responsive touchscreen after dropping it accidentally several times. Now it's getting hard to use. The final two scenes in the video (Welcome Rotonda, Secret Garden) and the photos in this post were shot with a Nikon D5200 and Sigma DC 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 OS HSM (Ø=72mm).
Please do check out my video compilation below. I also took note of the landmarks that you should look out for:

My Kenko soft filters finally arrive today. Pickup at the Central Post Office. Before I decided to buy these expensive filters, I tried MANY other ways. The results did not please me and it seems that this is the only way to go.
