March 6, 2017

I'm happy and giddy today! The Tokina RMC 28/2.8 is now converted to a Nikon mount, from its original Minolta MD mount. This is the lens that I brought for testing today. But I also brought with me a Nikon Series E 75-150/3.5, Alfo Supercolor 135/2.8 (unused) and a Sigma DC 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 OS HSM.

The Tokina RMC 28/2.8 is a great lens. It's already very sharp and vivid at f/2.8, and can maintain a good contrast even in scenes where I shoot it against strong sunlight. The other 28mm with me right now is a Tamron Adaptall 2 28/2.5 (02B), which is optically much better than the Tokina. However, I seem to prefer the Tokina more between the two for its warm personality.

Ang plano ko lang talaga ay to take the lenses around the neighborhood. Pero I was swept away by impulse again, kaya ako napunta ng Manila Bay ngayong araw.
