03 August 2017

Studying some poses and different lighting positions for head and shoulders shot (I just woke up here, no makeup!). This is just a study, I want to try classic poses, creative poses should come LATER.

The Micro-Nikkor-P 55mm f/3.5 is one of my most used lenses. Recently, it's been the only lens I've been using (like for product shots and portraiture). I don't have a big budget to get the most wanted equipment out there, but I find a regular LED bulb, light stand, and silver umbrella to work effectively for my lighting needs.

Now that I've freed up some space and re-arranged some furniture in the room, there's larger space to work with. I'm dreaming to have my own portable studio for business someday. Who knows... dreams do come true if you chase after them.

Later in the evening, I continued my study for some dramatic low-key portrait shots.
